Camping
What are the different camping options? At our holiday park there are 4 different camping fields: Eksche waard, Zomerdijk, Rozenwiel and Rozenwiel pet-free. Each field has its own characteristics.
Camping field Eksche waard is a cosy field for families with (young) children. This field has various playgrounds and is car-free. Centrally located on the camping field is a sanitary building and the field is close to the facilities. It is possible to stay here with a maximum of 6 persons and 2 dogs.
Camping field Zomerdijk is a pleasantly busy field for the entire family. This field lies next to the recreational lake and beach. There is a sanitary building on the field and the facilities are within walking distance. Numbers 1 to 4 on this field are paved pitches suitable for campers. It is possible to stay here with a maximum of 6 persons and 2 dogs.
Camping field Rozenwiel is a quieter field located by the fishpond. Here you can cast a fishing line close to or at the booked pitch and enjoy nature. Pitches 4 to 14 are partly paved. It is possible to stay here with a maximum of 6 persons and 2 dogs.
Camping field Rozenwiel pet-free is an extension of camping field Rozenwiel. This field is quieter and is also next to the fishpond. Here you can cast a fishing line close to or at the pitch you have booked and enjoy nature. It is possible to stay here with a maximum of 6 people.
Can I park my car next to my pitch?
When you book a camping pitch, one car is always included in your stay. It varies per camping field whether the car can stay at the pitch. Below you can see what the parking policy is per camping field:
Eksche waard - one car can be parked at the nearby parking field on the park.
Zomerdijk - car(s) may be parked at the parking field near the beach.
Rosewheel - one car may be parked at the pitch.
Rozenwiel pet-free - one car may be parked at the pitch.
If you come to the holiday park with more cars, all additional cars must be parked on the parking lot near the beach. Each additional car can be booked at a rate of €5 per car per night. You can communicate this by sending an email to receptie@eilandvanmaurik.nl or calling 0344-691502.
There is no pitch number on my confirmation/ invoice, where will I stay?
If there is no pitch number on your confirmation, it means we will allocate your pitch a few days before arrival. Do you want a specific campsite number? Then you can request a preferential booking. You can add this later by sending an e-mail to receptie@eilandvanmaurik.nl or calling 0344-691502.
What are the dimensions of the pitches?
Pitches are 100 square metres on average. The exact dimensions may vary from one pitch to another.
Is electricity included when I book a camping pitch?
A fair use policy for electricity applies when booking a pitch. Each pitch has an included limit of 8 kWh per day. If you exceed this limit, the extra costs will be invoiced later. You will receive more information about this after booking. For packages, such as the June and September package, the cost of electricity is completely exclusive and the price cap rules do not apply.
Is there a TV connection available?
Yes, every camping pitch has a TV connection. Make sure your television receives digital signal and supports DVBT.
Do I need a water tap key to tap water?
On camping field Eksche Waard and at pitches on Rozenwiel 65 to 120 you need a water tap key, available at reception for €2.50. On camping field Zomerdijk there are two water taps where no key is needed.
Can I put up an extra tent?
You may place one camping device and one additional tent (of maximum 2 by 2 metres) on your pitch. Additional fees apply for an extra tent. You can report this and pay at reception. It is not allowed to put a boat or second car next to the pitch.
What is allowed in the pond at camping field Rozenwiel?
Only fishing is allowed in the pond on the Rozenwiel camping field. Swimming, supping and boating are not allowed here.
